I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Ik ben een Spaanse pianist en componist (MMus afgestudeerd aan Codarts Rotterdam in beide richtingen) met al veel jaren leservaring, en ook zeer actief op het gebied van optredens in diverse contexten. Ik geef privé-pianolessen voor alle niveaus en stijlen (klassiek, jazz, latin, new age, pop...), en ook muziektheorie-, compositie- en improvisatielessen. Mijn lessen onderscheiden zich door hun dynamiek, praktische aanpak en aanpassing aan de behoeften en interesses van de student. De lessen (live of online) vinden plaats in mijn studio naast de Maastunnel, waar ik een premium stage piano en een top-kwaliteit webcam setup heb. Ik spreek Nederlands op gemiddeld niveau, dat met de dag beter wordt.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Mi formación incluye un título del Conservatorio Superior de Música Juan Manuel Olivares, un TSU especializado en guitarra clásica, y actualmente curso la Licenciatura en Musicología en la Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU). One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

I'm a professional guitarist with more than 10 years of experience teaching guitar in music schools and private lessons. The guitar lessons are oriented with a personal approach in a way that the student can develop his/her technical guitar abilities and music theory knowledge, in order to be able to explore and play the most varied music styles. If the student wants to, it is also possible to apply this knowledge to create and write his/her own music.

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing! The class duration: You can choose! 20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old) 30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old) 45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners) 1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory) I use different methods depending on: 1) The goals of my student 2) The language that we will use on class 3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.

El Taller Tecla y Música es un espacio pensado para aprender y desarrollar tu sentido musical y expresivo a través del piano y/o teclados. El objetivo principal es aprender a hacer música y disfrutar del proceso de aprendizaje y sus resultados. El material con el que trabajamos (canciones, piezas instrumentales y ejercicios) está orientado principalmente a tu gusto musical, y la elección es en función de ir ampliando gradualmente tus posibilidades técnicas y expresivas, y a la vez explorar distintos estilos musicales. De este modo se van incorporando distintas herramientas para lograr en un corto plazo, dominio y fluidez sobre el lenguaje musical y el instrumento. Dado que cada alumno tiene distintos intereses e inquietudes, ya sea tocar por afición o desarrollar una carrera profesional, componer, improvisar, etc., la orientación de las clases se construye en función de las posibilidades y necesidades particulares de cada caso. La propuesta de trabajo implica una frecuencia de clases semanal para lograr una óptima dinámica de trabajo y que los resultados sean visibles en un corto plazo. También existe la posibilidad de tomar clases aisladas con la finalidad de resolver un objetivo puntual como por ejemplo desarrollar y perfeccionar algún aspecto particular de la práctica y/o teoría musical así como el de preparar exámenes de instrumento o materias teóricas para instituciones de estudios musicales.

(Importante! Los horarios están ahora cerrándose con los alumnos que ya tengo, así que está difícil concretar un horario definitivo para septiembre) Hola! Hace más de 10 años que doy clases de forma ininterrumpida y me gustaría explicarte qué es lo que te puedes encontrar en una clase conmigo: - Para empezar, lo más importante es saber qué se quiere conseguir. Me gustaría enfocar las clases según lo que tú necesites o desees, desde aprender por puro placer desde cero hasta preparar pruebas de acceso o enfocarte de forma profesional. Las necesidades de cada alumno pueden llegar a variar la metodología, la forma de organizar las sesiones de estudio, etc. - Una vez sepamos qué queremos conseguir y para cuándo, las clases empezarán en ambiente relajado. ¡Importante! ¡Relajado no es igual a poco riguroso! solo que procuraremos recurrir a métodos dinámicos y tan prácticos como sea posible, especialmente dado mi carácter y sentido del humor ;). - Algo importante a destacar es que siempre hago especial hincapié en el desarrollo del oído, la musicalidad y el análisis de tus referentes. Sobre todo para que luego puedas tomar tus propias decisiones estéticas y te puedas sentir dueño de tu música. - Por último, aunque no por ello menos importante, mi tendencia será dar la misma importancia a distintas músicas. Nos iremos adaptando a tus gustos y necesidades, pero aquí no hay lugar para decir qué música es mejor o peor. Cada una nos ayudará a trabajar distintos aspectos de la música y, si algo no lo conozco, lo analizaremos codo a codo hasta desentrañar todos sus misterios. Lo único que sí haré es trabajar sobre temas y estilos que nos puedan ayudar en cada apartado del desarrollo musical (melodía, armonía, ritmo, orquestación, producción, letra, semiótica, etc) Si te gusta lo que has leído, no dudes en contactar conmigo.
