I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

Everybody can sing!
In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself.
In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians.
I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Let's have fun!

If you would like to improve your knowledge about jazz music, I can teach you repertoire, improvisation, composition

Lessons of trumpet, jazz harmony and improvisation for all instruments. Around 15 years of teaching experience. FR/SP

My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel.

Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. This class is open for musicians of any level and any instrument who would like to engage in a deep studying of rhythm.
We'll deepen exercises for improving timing, rhythmic perception, rhythmic phrasing, looking at rhythm from different perspective and approaches, delving into listening and (when desired from the student) transcribing.
I believe that understanding rhythm is a foundamental skill for musicians of any genre, and mastering it can be afforded from anyone willing to patiently practice it.

I'm a long experienced drummer and percussionist, specialised in improvised music, jazz and creative music in general, even though my professional activitity spans from contemporary to pop music.
I have accomplished my Bachelor and Masters study in Italy, and since september 2023 I moved to Basel to do a Specialised Master in composition, performance and improvisation.

With many years of experience in private teaching and two years as associate professor at the Conservatory of Milan, I love to deal with committed, passionate and curious musicians at any point of their musical carreer, weather they might want to study just for fun, passion, or as a way to enter the profesisonal world of music.
I'm available to teach to drummers and percussionist, as well as other instrumentists that may want to deepen their understanding and practicing on rhythm.

My artistic research is about time and space, that find their realisation in colors and rhythms. As I graduated also in Foreign Lenguages and Literatures, I like to have also a linguistic approach to music and to musical genres.
Some of my main practice interests:
- rhythm and dance
- rhythm and body
- rhythmic approaches in XX century music (mainly minimalism, serialism, spectralism, new music)
- historical approach to rhythm and music
- rhythmic folk traditions from different countries (india, africa, south america, eastern europe)
- polyrhythms
- odd meters
- microrhythms

I see music, drums, percussions and teaching as one of the most beautiful ways to deepen our humanness and understaning of ourselves and the others.

Looking forward to meet you!
