El contenido de mis clases se centra en las necesidades de los alumnos. El lenguaje se transmite a través de ejemplos prácticos con participación activa de cada uno de mis estudiantes, con el fin de que puedan asimilar con facilidad cada una de las palabras (vocabulario), así como las reglas gramaticales o fonéticas según sus usos y en un contexto habitual, que va desde un lenguaje informal hasta una forma escrita compleja.

Mis clases se desarrollan habitualmente en una continua comunicación oral para de este modo lograr mejorar la interactividad de mis alumnos.

Adapto mis clases, ya sean de apoyo o perfeccionamiento u otras, a las necesidades más mínimas de los alumnos, para verlos alcanzar sus objetivos en términos de comprensión/producción oral, y comprensión y producción escrita.

Tengo varios años de experiencia en la docencia, y una formación en pedagogía.

Tengo una licenciatura con honores de primera en Periodismo y Comunicación Social. Estudié en el Consejo de Europa sobre formación de profesores y ayuda en la comunicación de minorías en Europa, participé en un curso de formación sobre el empoderamiento de los jóvenes minoritarios en Europa. Tengo un diploma de la Universidad de La Rioja sobre competencias del profesorado ELE y el manejo de nuevas tecnologías.
Además de una maestría en
Profesora Internacional de Lengua y Cultura Española, en la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, en España. Esta Universidad me ha otorgado también un certificado de Examinador después de realizar un curso externo a la Maestría antes mencionada.

My name is María, and I am a native Spanish teacher and Spanish Fluency Coach based in Spain.
I help students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, develop confidence and fluency in Spanish through personalised, engaging, and practical lessons.
My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each student's goals. Whether you want to learn Spanish for travel, work, business, academic purposes, conversation, culture, literature, or personal enrichment, I will create lessons designed specifically for you.
I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable. My classes combine real-life communication, cultural insights, and a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and making progress from day one.
Over the years, I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing my students grow in confidence and communicate naturally in Spanish.

Formación

I hold a First-Class Honours Degree in Journalism and Social Communication, as well as a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish Language and Culture from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain.
I have also received specialized training through the Council of Europe in language teaching and education.
In addition, I am an accredited DELE examiner and certified assessor under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This qualification enables me to assess Spanish language proficiency at different levels and support students preparing for official Spanish examinations.
My academic background and teaching experience allow me to work confidently with learners of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced students seeking academic, professional, or personal language development.

For more than ten years, I have taught Spanish as a foreign language to students from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds around the world.
My teaching philosophy places the student at the centre of the learning experience. Every lesson is tailored to individual goals, interests, and learning styles, creating an environment where students feel confident to communicate and make steady progress.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children, teenagers, university students, adults, and professionals at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.
My areas of expertise include conversational Spanish, academic support, business Spanish, Spanish literature and culture, creative writing, and communication skills. This broad experience allows me to design engaging lessons that are both practical and intellectually enriching.
My greatest satisfaction is helping students develop confidence, fluency, and a genuine connection with the Spanish language and its cultures.
